Annapurna tilicho lake trek is the most challenging trekking route of Annapurna region of Nepal. This route is start from Besisahar. This route is very much famous and fantastic journey of this region because of its beautiful lake. Trekking in lake carries a historical and pilgrimage importance as it was mentions in the holy Ramayan. Annapurna tilicho lake trek is situated at the height of 4949m from the sea level which is the main attraction of this trekking route. This route offer spectacular and gallant views of the white Himalayas. This lake collects glacial melt of northern slops like Thorong la pass and Annapurna Himal. For this trekking one trekker should physically fit with the great passion towards exploring and trekking adventure. In this trekking we will know about the life style, culture and traditions of Gurung, Thakali and Magar community of people which is the inhabited of this region. For trekking in this region the best season is February to May and September to the second week of the December. The trek leads down to the muktinath. Our trek start from Kathmandu and the trek end from the pokhara and we will visit to several cultural heritage sites.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel
The representatives from Himalayan Scenery will welcome you at TIUA (Tribhuwan International University Airport) upon your arrival. We then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing Kathmandu Valley
Take breakfast and around at 9:00 AM start to sightseeing point, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. You will have the full day guided sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley covering the major cultural attractions which have also been cited as The World Heritage Cultural Sites. Which is most popular Kathmandu Durbar square and Kumari temple, Patan Durbar Squer Krishna Mandir temple, Syoyembhunath Buddhist Temple, Boddhanath stupa One of the biggest stupa in the world and Pashupatinath Hindu Temple which is main shrine hindusim temple, After visit return to hotel and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Beshisahar to Sangee by Local Jeep takes 7 hours
Kathmandu to Beshishar and Beshisahar to Sangee by Local Express bus Local Jeep, It's a distance of 185 kilometers and 2 hours short Tough Road to Sange. Besishahar offers you the beautiful views of snowcapped mountains around. We stay overnight at a lodge.
Day 04: Trek from Syangee to Bagarchhap (2160m) – 6 Hours
After breakfast trek to Bagarchhap, our day begins with a rocky trail following the Marsyangdi River steadily uphill to Tal. Tal is the first village in the Manang District. Crossing the wide and flat valley, our trail continues up and down to Dharapani (1890m). Upon reaching Bagarchhap, you can witness the typical flat roofed stone houses of local Tibetans. The village is surrounded by apple Orchads and maize fields. We stay overnight at lodge.
Day 05: Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m) – 6 Hours
After breakfast trek to bagarchhap, as we reach Chame, the headquarterof Manang District, you will be rewarded by the fine views of Annapurna II. We also witness two small hot springs by the town. Besides, we are also introduced with the local community of which the residents are said to have migrated from Tibet centuries ago. We stay overnight at lodge.
Day 06: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3400m) – 6 Hours
After breakfast trek to Upper Pisang, Our day starts through a deep forest in a steep and narrow valley crossing a river on a long bridge. After crossing another bridge, we can witness some of the beautiful rock faces of soaring PaungdaDanda. And from there, we join the trail to climb to Pisang. We stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 07: Trek from Pisang to Ngawal (3600m) – 6 Hours
After breakfast trek to Ngawal. People of this region herd yaks and raise crops for a part of the year. From Pisang, there are two alternative trails from north and south of Marsyangdi River which meets up again at Gyaru take little rest and forward to Nwawal with Spectacular scenery Pisang peak, Chulu far east, chulu west peak, Annapurna IIII, Annapurna II, Gangapurna and many others Himalayan stay overnight at lodge.
Day 08: Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3500m) 5 hours
After breakfast trek to Manang short day and visit to Beautiful old villages braga monastery and traditional houses. And forward to manang stay overnight at lodge.
Day 09: Acclimatization at Manang
Today we spend a day acclimatizing at Manang. We spend the whole day doing some fine day walks and enjoying the magnificent sights around the village. We can explore the absolutely gorgeous Manang Valley and the lifestyle of the people there. We stay overnight at lodge.
Day 10: Manang to Khangsar (3745m/12286ft): 04 hours
After breakfast trek to Khangsar it takes around 4 hours, spectacular scenery Annapurna Himalayan range and edge of the marsyandi river and next village forward to reach khangsar stay overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp (4140m/13,583ft): 5-6 hours
After breakfast trek to Tilicho base camp, the trail is so tough and tiny part of Annapurna region with amazing Annapurna Himalayan scenery stay overnight at lodge.
Day 12: Visit Tilicho Lake (4,949m/16,138 ft) then trek back to base camp: 5-6 hours
Early morning hike up Tilicho Lake take photo lots of pictures and enjoy. The Tilicho Lake is one the highest lake in the world, after that return to tilicho base camp stay overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Tilicho Base Camp to Yak Kharka (4040m/13,020ft): 4-5 hours
After breakfast trek to Yak kharka, it is hard and following annapurna circuit route and bitten track off and nature beauty nature. On the trail can see many of Annapurna himalyan range and trekking peaks which is more beautiful stay overnight at lodge.
Day 12: Trek from Yak Kharka to ThorongPhedi (4450m) – 6Hours
After breakfast trek to Thorngfedi, we continue our ascent for about two hours and then descend down to cross the river. We then climb up to ThorongPhedi where you can see some decent guesthouses. We stay overnight at lodge.
Day 13: Trek from ThorongPhedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorong La Pass (5416m) – 8 Hours
Our journey today is going to be quite longer today. So we start early in the morning before sunrise to reach the Pass by 9am. We have to consider about the weather conditions that might greatly affect our journey particularly at the Thorong La pass which is at the altitude of 5416m. We have to climb steeply on a regular route which is quite easy to follow. When we rich at muktinath temple and visit to 108 water tape which is believed Hinduism and Buddhism which is most popular pilgrimage Muktinath temple and Buddhist monastery stay overnight at lodge.
Day 14: Trek from Muktinath to Marpha (2670m) – 6 Hours
After breakfast trek to Marpha, we leave Muktinath and descend through the Kaligandaki Valley to Marpha. Marpha is considered a home to the legendary apple orchids is known as the Apple capital of Nepal. Apple Brandy is another local specialty that you may be lucky enough to taste on the way. We stay overnight at lodge.
Day 15: drive to Tatopani by local jeep or Express bus (1190m) – 4 Hours
After breakfast trek to tatopani, we drive to through the deepest gorge of the world, Kopchepani. And we then continue descending thorugh the Kali Gandaki River Valley to Tatopani. At Tatopani, you can enjoy bathing in natural hot springs. This is the best place to relax your body after the trek of a long day. We stay overnight at lodge.
Day 16: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2810m) – 7 Hours
After breakfast trek to ghorepani is going to be a big day as it takes around 8 hours to reach Ghorepani from Tatopani. So, we climb about 1650 meters up and pass a couple of Magar and Gurung villages on the way. We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Ghorepani.
Day 17: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1570m) – 5 Hours
Early in the morning today, we start an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) which is a best viewpoint in the Annapurna Region. Poon Hill offers the best opportunity to witness the phenomenal panorama of the beautiful peaks including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After poon hill return to same lodge at ghorepani take breakfast and start to our journey forward to Tikhedhunga and stay overnight at lodge.
Day 18: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul (1010m) – 3 Hours and Drive to Pokhara – 1 Hour
After breakfast trek to nayapul and drive to pokhara, it takes only few hours walk (about 3 to three hours) to reach Nayapul fromTikhedhunga. From Nayapul, we take 1-hourdrive to Pokhara where we stay overnight at hotel.
Day 19: Drive Back to Kathmandu by tourist bus or Private van
From hotel to transfer tourist bus station or domestic airport depend on schedule. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can utilize your time for the last minute shopping or you can explore around the city. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 20: Final International Departure
Transfer from hotel to International airport you take the returning flight to your hometown. Our representatives will assist you to reach the airport. You return to your home with an unforgettable travel experience in Nepal and happy journey.
