Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek begins from Kathmandu valley by sightseeing of the UNESCO world heritage sites to trekking in the beautiful Manaslu region. This trek is located in Gorkha district. The treks best to those who are looking for the challenging but less trodden trekking in Nepal. This route is also a part of the Great Himalayan trails. On the trip we get to marvel at the wonderful views of Mt Manaslu which is the eight tallest mountains in the world. During the trek we will goes through the several remote village where the Gurung people stay, around this villages are involved in the British and Indian army which is also called Gorkha army. This trekking route is also becoming the best alternative of classic Annapurna due to the some section of Annapurna region. The highest point in this trek is the Larkya la pass which is widely believed to be one of the most dramatic pass crossing the Himalayan.

Manaslu Circuit Trek will start from Gorkha District. Trekking along the trail meanders, scrambles and climbs its way along the confines of the valley. The trek involves walking on mountain trails, and is within the capabilities of people with good cardiovascular fitness. We passes along through the several forest that consist of Hugh verities of vegetations, most of the forest during the lower part of the trekking whereas rhododendron and oak at the higher altitude consist of Himalayan blue pine, divers variety of medical herbs and plant which found in this forest. The best season for this trekking route is October to November and March to April. We trek higher the Hindu culture is being replaces by Buddhist features of main walls. For this trekking one trekker should have physically fit and fine. The Manaslu conservation is the home of the rare birds, animals, herbs and plants.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel

The representatives from Himalayan Scenery will welcome you at TIUA (Tribhuwan International University Airport) upon your arrival. We then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing Kathmandu Valley

Take breakfast and around at 9:00 AM start to sightseeing point, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. You will have the full day guided sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley covering the major cultural attractions which have also been cited as The World Heritage Cultural Sites. Which is most popular Kathmandu Durbar square and Kumari temple, Patan Durbar Squer Krishna Mandir temple, Syoyembhunath Buddhist Temple, Boddhanath stupa One of the biggest stupa in the world and Pashupatinath Hindu Temple which is main shrine Hinduism temple, After visit return to hotel and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat (640m) – 8 Hours

After breakfast drive to Arughat, we will head to Arughat from Kathmandu. Arughat is the starting point of our trek. We drive through Dhading Besi to eventually reach Arughat. It takes around eight hours for our bus to get there. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Trek from Arughat to Soti Khola (775m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Sotikhola, we continue our trek following the Budhi Gandaki River towards its origin. Passing through the village of Morder and Simre, we reach Arkhat River. We ascend slowly towards Kyoropani and set up our camp near the confluence of Seti River. Well, Seti River is an ideal place to take a fresh water bath. We stay overnight stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (900m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Machhakhola, we descent slowly until you climb again to mountain ridge to Almara. We then pass the forest to reach Riden Gaon. On reaching Lambeshi, we follow down to the sandy river bed of Budhi Gandaki. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m) – 6 Hours

From Machha Khola, we head to Khrola Besi. We then move to Tatopani where we can enjoy natural hot spring. Following the trail through the forest, we eventually reach Dovan and then to Jagat. We stay overnight at local guesthouse.

Day 07: Trek from Jagat to Ngyak (2310m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Nyak, we start ascending to the hill of Saguleri witnessing the magnificent views of Sringi Himal. Continuing toward Sirish Gaon, we eventually reach Ngyak where we stay overnight at lodge

Day 08: Trek from Ngyak to Ghap (2100m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Ghap, we follow the trail upstream of Deng River and then walk through a newly built rock tunnel. The trail eventually leads us to Ghap where you can explore the Tibetan culture with Mani stones and chortens all around. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Trek from Ghap to Lho (3200m) – 6 Hours

 After breakfasts continue to Crossing the wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki, we follow the path lined with houses that are interspersed with cultivated fields. We then cross the Hinan River and continue to Lho. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Trek from Lho to Samagompa (3500m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Samagaun, we pass the stone gate and long Mani stone wall. From here, we can witness the beautiful view of Peak 29. Following the lateral moraine of Pungen Glacier, we eventually reach the village of Sama. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Trek from Samagompa to Samdo (4500m) – 5 Hours

After breakfast trek to Samdo, We climb a terraced hill on the opposite bank of Budhi Gandaki River. From here, we move towards the most remote village of Samdo where. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Exploration day at Samdo

Today, for getting used to the thinning of the air, proper acclimatization is recommended at Samdo. This acclimatization will help your body to adjust for higher altitudes in the days to follow. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Trek from Samdo to Rest house larke Phedi (4600m) -5 hours

After breakfast we will slowly trek to Larke Phedi it takes aournd 4-5 hours and wonderful Himalayan scenery enjoy with views. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Cross Larkya La pass (5215m) and trek to Bhimphedi (3590m) – 8 Hours

After breakfast trek to Bhimtang, we first climb towards the Cho Chanda and then gradually head steeply uphill towards the Larkya La Pass. Overlooking the panorama of snowcapped mountains from the top, we descend steeply through the moraines and finally arrive at Bhimphedi. We stay overnight at local guesthouse.

Day 15: Trek from Bhimphedi to Tilje (3900m) – 5 Hours

After breakfast trek to tilje, our route gets easier and we start a gentle climb through paddy fields towards Karcha La pass. After crossing that small pass, we descend through the fig trees and forests of rhododendrons till we reach Tilje. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 16: Trek from Tilje to Tal (1725m) – 5 Hours

After break we are continue Following the downstream trail of Marshyangdi River and passing through the scattered villages, we eventually reach the village of Tal. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 17: Trek from Tal to Jagat (1300m) – 5 Hours

After breakfast trek to Jagat, We descend gently following the downstream of the river and passing the villages of Chamje and Himal Pani. We then trek little further to reach Jagat where we stay overnight at lodge.

Day 18: Drive back to Beshisahar 2 hours local jeep and Kathmandu 5 hours

Today end of Manaslu larke pass and drive back to besisahar and Kathmandu it takes around totals 6-7 hour and exploring in Kathmandu, stay overnight at hotel.

Day 19: Final International Departure

Transfer from hotel to International airport you take the returning flight to your hometown. Our representatives will assist you to reach the airport. You return to your home with an unforgettable travel experience in Nepal and happy journey.
