Pisang Peak Climbing

Pisang peak climbing is one of the popular peaks for climber in the Nepal. This peak climbing involves trekking in the famous Annapurna region and summiting pisang peak. We combine this peak climbing with a world famous Annapurna circuit trekking. This trekking offer beautiful Himalayan views of Mt Dhaulagiri, Mt Manaslu, Mt Annapurna and more than two dozen of the snowy capped mountains of Annapurna region trekking trails. Although this peak climbing is considered to be among the easier ones of the Himalayan region which rises above from pisang village and yak pastures in a uniform slop ice and snow to the final summit pyramid. While on this peak climbing trekking we will also visit Muktinath and trek in the beautiful Manage region of Nepal. This peak considered as the easy climbing in Nepal. The climbing starts from Besisahar in the valley of the Marsyangdi River. It is situated in the north of the Manang valley.

Pisang peak climbing is the challenging peak climbing of the Annapurna region. The views of Annapurna ranges, Dhaulagiri and other Himalayan from the top are splendid. These types of peak climbing for that trekker who have enough time to spend in Nepal and for that people who are physically fit and good. Trekking challenges and the expose it provides on the verity of ethnic Nepalese people. The final part of the trek takes you to Jomsom. The best season for this peak climbing is the end of November and the end of March. As most of the peak climbing in Nepal are quite strenuous and challenging, the trekker must be fully prepared before they decide scale the peak. It is yet considered as a difficult one because of its slippery nature. It is more suitable for the beginners but it also requires equal physical stamina and strength.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel

The representatives from Himalayan Scenery will welcome you at TIUA (Tribhuwan International University Airport) upon your arrival. We then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing Kathmandu Valley

Take breakfast and around at 9:00 AM start to sightseeing point, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. You will have the full day guided sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley covering the major cultural attractions which have also been cited as The World Heritage Cultural Sites. Which is most popular Kathmandu Durbar square and Kumari temple, Patan Durbar Squer Krishna Mandir temple, Syoyembhunath Buddhist Temple, Boddhanath stupa One of the biggest stupa in the world and Pashupatinath Hindu Temple which is main shrine hindusim temple, After visit return to hotel and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Beshisahar to Sangee by Local Jeep takes 7 hours

Kathmandu to Beshishar and Beshisahar to Sangee by Local Express bus Local Jeep, It's a distance of 185 kilometers and 2 hours short Tough Road to Sange.  Besishahar offers you the beautiful views of snowcapped mountains around. We stay overnight at a lodge.

Day 04: Trek from Syangee to Bagarchhap (2160m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Bagarchhap, our day begins with a rocky trail following the Marsyangdi River steadily uphill to Tal. Tal is the first village in the Manang District. Crossing the wide and flat valley, our trail continues up and down to Dharapani (1890m). Upon reaching Bagarchhap, you can witness the typical flat roofed stone houses of local Tibetans. The village is surrounded by apple Orchads and maize fields. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to bagarchhap, as we reach Chame, the headquarterof Manang District, you will be rewarded by the fine views of Annapurna II. We also witness two small hot springs by the town. Besides, we are also introduced with the local community of which the residents are said to have migrated from Tibet centuries ago. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3400m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Upper Pisang, Our day starts through a deep forest in a steep and narrow valley crossing a river on a long bridge. After crossing another bridge, we can witness some of the beautiful rock faces of soaring PaungdaDanda. And from there, we join the trail to climb to Pisang. We stay overnight at Lodge.

Day 07: Pisang to high camp (5300m) 6 hours

We will walk early morning with a gradual climb over to the high camp of Pisang. We will climb to the height of 5400m above sea level. The spectacular view of manang valley can be seen from the height. Our night will be exhilarating at camp in a tent of high camp of Pisang peak.

Day 08: High camp to Summit and back to base camp (6100m) 9-10 hours

Today we will fulfill our destination by reaching to summit. We will walk through way to the summit. We will get the panoramic view of mountains which will mesmerize us and will recharge our tired muscles. After spending some of our precious time we will return back to base camp. We will return to the base camp of Pisang peak to stay the night.

Day 09: Base camp to Manang (3500m) 6 hours

After completing our dream, we will walk towards the beautiful barren land Manang valley. The distinct landscapes and vegetation at this place can be observed during our walk. We can reach the Manang valley after walking about 5 to 6 hours. We will explore around the Manang valley for some time and stay night.

Day 10: Acclimatization at Manang

Today we spend a day acclimatizing at Manang. We spend the whole day doing some fine day walks and enjoying the magnificent sights around the village. We can explore the absolutely gorgeous Manang Valley and the lifestyle of the people there. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4000m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Yakkharka, we continue our journey from Manang today. Our trail ascends nearly 500m to Yak Kharka. Climbing steadily through TenkiManang, we leave the Marsyangdi Valley and continue along the JarsangKhola valley. We eventually reach Yak Kharka at 4000m where you can see the herds of yaks and vegetation thinning out. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Trek from Yak Kharka to ThorongPhedi (4450m) – 6Hours

After breakfast trek to Thorngfedi, we continue our ascent for about two hours and then descend down to cross the river. We then climb up to ThorongPhedi where you can see some decent guesthouses. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Trek from ThorongPhedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorong La Pass (5416m) – 8 Hours

Our journey today is going to be quite longer today. So we start early in the morning before sunrise to reach the Pass by 9am. We have to consider about the weather conditions that might greatly affect our journey particularly at the Thorong La pass which is at the altitude of 5416m. We have to climb steeply on a regular route which is quite easy to follow. When we rich at muktinath temple and visit to 108 water tape which is believed Hinduism and Buddhism which is most popular pilgrimage Muktinath temple and Buddhist monastery stay overnight at lodge. 

Day 14: Trek from Muktinath to Marpha (2670m) – 6 Hours

After breakfast trek to Marpha, we leave Muktinath and descend through the Kaligandaki Valley to Marpha. Marpha is considered a home to the legendary apple orchids is known as the Apple capital of Nepal. Apple Brandy is another local specialty that you may be lucky enough to taste on the way. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 15: drive to Tatopani by local jeep or Express bus (1190m) – 4 Hours

After breakfast trek to tatopani, we drive to through the deepest gorge of the world, Kopchepani. And we then continue descending thorugh the Kali Gandaki River Valley to Tatopani. At Tatopani, you can enjoy bathing in natural hot springs. This is the best place to relax your body after the trek of a long day. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 16: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2810m) – 7 Hours

After breakfast trek to ghorepani is going to be a big day as it takes around 8 hours to reach Ghorepani from Tatopani. So, we climb about 1650 meters up and pass a couple of Magar and Gurung villages on the way. We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Ghorepani.

Day 17: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1570m) – 5 Hours

Early in the morning today, we start an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) which is a best viewpoint in the Annapurna Region. Poon Hill offers the best opportunity to witness the phenomenal panorama of the beautiful peaks including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After poon hill return to same lodge at ghorepani take breakfast and start to our journey forward to Tikhedhunga and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 19: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul (1010m) – 3 Hours and Drive to Pokhara – 1 Hour

After breakfast trek to nayapul and drive to pokhara, it takes only few hours walk (about 3 to three hours) to reach Nayapul fromTikhedhunga. From Nayapul, we take 1-hourdrive to Pokhara where we stay overnight at hotel.

Day 20: Drive Back to Kathmandu by tourist bus or Private van

From hotel to transfer tourist bus station or domestic airport depend on schedule. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can utilize your time for the last minute shopping or you can explore around the city. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 21: Final International Departure

Transfer from hotel to International airport you take the returning flight to your hometown. Our representatives will assist you to reach the airport. You return to your home with an unforgettable travel experience in Nepal and happy journey.
